many thanks for the great feed back on the christmas brews especially the snowella this will be a new regular beer in the new year (just need a name any ideas ) if you have not tried it yet stan has it in in 18 gallon casks in the old black bull and nick at the new brit  the noballs recipe will superseed the nemesis from now on ,as my school report used to say (smith must try harder )

may i thank all my customers landlords and private sale  friends who have  helped by buying my  beers over the last year  we are going to need you in the comming year even more

i does not seen appropriate after the last blog on levi that i write this…….but

a few people have asked what has happened to big al a.k.a diamond geeza as i have been taking over his spot for a while ,Marion his wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer and he has been involved with the swift recovery of her health ,after talking to her on friday she seems to be the same marion we know and love

they are just not know for there knowledge  and love  of real ale locally they are world travelers  in searching out the best beers thats why alan is my brewery liaison officer,  all the best from everybody in the trade and camra we wish you a speedy recovery

even through alans tough  times he  still had time for  my friday night reports  so he would have the latest information  at hand

this weekend i have been working on the recipe im looking for a dark full bodied beer the way we remember him ,hops bodasia (a hop i have not used before ) so my customers will be in for a treat as i don’t make dark beers apart from val (addiction) .

i also have been working with my web site master to get the perfect song and vidios to remember him by the video in the wheel chair in his last days says it all (we lost a monster of a big man a great friend of mine the same way r.i.p peter crangle the leeds united psychopath) .

why do we go through life to end up like this ?his is not a practice run (this is it) hope i go out with the pride and respect you had in your last days

today we found out that the great Levi stubbs has died of cancer as a great writer of the worlds most powerful love songs i am dedicating a new beer for levi ill post more in the morning and a video of i believe (in you and me) accompanied with another video by billy Bragg that just says everything of the great man god bless Levi for the lovely candle lite dinners i have had with your songs as a back drop to accompany my wine and food for years

i have been approached by my very lovely landlady julie that rumours are flying about concerning harts future at the cartford will the stirring people that like to bring up the article in ale cry about this subject please take this in…

west lances branch of camra were told when i did the interview as was everybody else that i will not disuse or talk about my future until i am told by my landlords that my lease will not be renewed this meeting will be in november then i will have 6 months left to talk to prospected places to relocate hart brewery

i have no intention to leave the cartford no will i ever want to leave my present landlords are top class people

julie is one of the best women i have ever meet( glad she is married to patrick and not me )i hope to spend the rest of my days there if possible.

hope this blog will encourage people to go to the cartford to drink my beers instead of going there to cause unrest

does stan know were in a resesion he has ordered 11 guest beers from us this week ,,

i got a call from stan this week we have a treat for you (i hope) he has ordered 3 .18 gallon casks of ice maiden and dropped the boddingtons the ice maiden will be at the same price of bods so if you want to drink class ale at i think he said £2.10 per pint get down to big stans

this is a trial hope we get your support

sad news today the very gorgeous katie  bradshaw for those  who  dont know  who im talking about  its  the blonde (no brunette  now ) on the welcome page is leaving in a month to take up a trainee  hotel manager position in the lakes she is the last of Andrews old staff  to leave  i fell like general george  custer at the little big horn ,

all the best babes it is a sad day for all your friends at the cartford old days and new
